Assignment 5: Personas & Scenarios / Prioritization Matrix

Personas & Scenarios

Create three personas (1 primary, 1 secondary, and 1 complementary user). You will create a fictional person and describe in terms of gender, age, profession, interests, overall desires and goals of the Web site, and at least one scenario as to how this persona would interact with the Web site. This detailed persona description gives a face and personality to a target audience to help you insure that the final design meets that person's needs. Conduct online for each persona you create and list the supporting research and references in your document.

My Persona's:

Scenarios

User scenarios are written descriptions of how a particular persona could use the Web site or application to accomplish a specific task or set of tasks. For each persona, describe a session or series of sessions with the Web site that are specific to this user type. Describe the user's motivation and context for why they are accessing the Web site, and what they wish to accomplish. Describe what the user interacts with and the sequence of steps to accomplish their goal. If the user task is accomplished in other places than the Web site and across multiple sessions, detail this. Write the scenarios in a way that it is easy for a client to read and understand.

Prioritization Matrix

Assess the requirements in Assignment 4 against the needs, wants, desires, and motivations of the personas and scenarios your have created. Prioritize each requirement based upon everything you now know about your project. Include any new requirements that become evident from the personas and scenarios exercise. In addition to the information you already have for each requirement, include the following rating (high/medium/low):
