This course is about taking creative control of the computer. Beginning with the fundamentals of programming and progressing along a track that focuses on user interaction, real-time animation, and programmatic creation, students learn to use the computer as a computational medium capable of realizing such original creations as interactive art, playful Web sites, and video games. This is the first step toward creating these types of highly interactive experiences.
